Campers will participate in some of the same real-life activities as their 19th-century counterparts who lived in Washington. Hands-on and interpretive activities will take place daily, including learning the basics of the printing press, the art of the blacksmith trade, the essentials of 19th-century games, and the tasks needed to care for the community’s working animals.
