James Black School Offering Knife-Making Class in July
Is it just me, or does this sound like a ton of fun? Making your own knife! I know, I've watched way too much "Forged In Fire" on the History Channel, but I think I could do this!
The James Black School of Bladesmithing & Historic Trades will offer a hands-on Knife Kit Class on July 11 & 12, giving participants the chance to build their own custom knife while learning basic bladesmithing techniques.
Is This Class For Beginners?
Yes - This beginner-friendly course will be led by experienced bladesmith Adam Mille and is designed for those with little or no knife-making experience. Students will receive step-by-step instruction as they assemble and finish a knife from a kit, creating a completed blade to take home at the end of the class.
The two-day workshop will run from 8 AM to 5 PM each day at the James Black School of Bladesmithing & Historic Trades in Historic Washington, Arkansas.
