It's time to start gearing up for summer fun and one of the must-see attractions is in Grapevine, Texas especially if you're a DC Universe fan.

Universe of Light Attraction - Gaylord Texan Resort

The incredible Gaylord Texan Resort reveals the Universe of Light, a larger-than-life DC Universe lantern attraction. Beginning on May 23 and running until September 1, 2025, this immersive experience brings the artistry of Zigong, China, the "Lantern Capital of the World" to Texas.

More than 1,000 glowing lanterns bring to life iconic Super Heroes and Super Villains, legendary locations like Batman's Gotham City and Wonder Woman's home Themyscira, and interactive photo ops including a chance to sit inside the Batmobile. How cool would that be?

The all-new, walkthrough attraction, Universe of Light, will feature multiple worlds and 40 iconic DC Super Heroes and Super Villains designed by master artisans from Zigong, China. The Universe of Light attraction will span over 17, 500 square feet featuring 1,000 masterfully crafted up to 24 feet tall.

The attraction will include an aerial confrontation between Superman and Lex Luthor high above Metropolis, interactive experiences such as exploring Themyscira, an epic battle between the Justice League and an intergalactic foe, and meet-and-greet opportunities with real-life DC superheroes.
