Since we are all at home and getting tired of all of the sandwiches and microwave pizza, getting food to go is what we are all doing. Weather is it a quick trip through the drive-thru or picking up some wonderful local restaurant food, we are making it in this new normal. Fox News had a story on what was the most popular food that the delivery service Uber eats has been delivering to homes during the quarantine.

Uber eats is a delivery service that is available in our area and they recently compiled a list of the most popular food that is being ordered for delivery. The service has seen a 35 percent bump in ordering since March and here are some of the most popular food in the United States.

French fries are the most popular in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington. Unfortunately, Arkansas is not on the list, but in Texas, the most popular food is a Pad Thai bowl. It is also a big deal in the following states,  Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, and Tennesse.

Pad Thai according to Wikipedia is:

is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as street food and at most restaurants in Thailand as part of the country's cuisine. It is typically made with rice noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or tofu, peanuts, a scrambled egg, and bean sprouts, among other vegetables.

If you are wondering why pizza is not on the list. It is because most pizza restaurants have their own delivery service.
