Jobs we sometimes love them and sometimes we hate them but without them where would we be?  The other day I was talking to a friend and we got on the subject of our first job we ever had.

I've been in radio most of my life but I did have some other jobs when I was younger. It's funny how people perceive that I've only done radio and nothing else. I would say, that at least 90 percent of my career life has been dedicated to what I love the most being in broadcasting. It's something as far back as I can remember that I always wanted to do. I wanted to be that voice I heard coming out of my radio. I landed my first part-time radio gig on KOSY 790 when I was in high school in the mid to late 70s. However, during that same time I also had a part-time job as a TV repairman assistant, going on service calls to help him fix televisions, set up antennas even deliver new TVs.  Over the years my other jobs included working at a liquor store and a tobacco company. I learned a lot from these places and made some lifelong friends along the way but I always felt radio was my calling and have never looked back. I truly feel blessed to be able to make a living doing what I love.

So yesterday, I asked my Facebook friends to give me some input on their first job and the response was overwhelming to say the least.
