Idabel Blooms: Dogwood Days Festival Unleashes Spring Fever

It's that time of year to celebrate and welcome the spring season with blooming flowers and the Dogwood Days Festival in Idabel, Oklahoma. Take the short drive from Texarkana for a weekend of fun!

The downtown area comes alive April 4-5 for the annual event featuring arts and craft vendors, food vendors, children's games, live entertainment, and sidewalk sales from downtown merchants as visitors stroll through the beautiful dogwood trees.

• Live Entertainment at the Amphitheater - 9 AM

• Cornhole Tournament - 10 AM - Registration at 9 :30 AM
• Car Cruise - 2 PM

Other activities will include a Bull in the Woods competition, a Firefighters Challenge, and a chicken cook-off sponsored by Tyson. The best part of the Dogwood Festival is taking a short trip to Beavers Bend Park and enjoying scenic tree-lined views of the majestic dogwood trees surrounding the park.
