Music, Art, and More: Downtown Live Kicks Off Friday, July 11th

It's that time again! Downtown Live is tonight (Friday, July 11). Grab your friends and enjoy an evening of music, art, shopping and food in historic downtown Texarkana.

Downtown Live takes place the second Friday of every month from 6 PM to 9 PM. This month there will be a free outdoor concert with Texarkana Winds Community Orchestra with the theme Americana as we celebrate our great country and the American spirit.

The concert will be held outside the Gallery at 1894 located at 105 Olive Street. Be sure to bring a lawn chair to relax and enjoy the music.

Downtown Live is all about our community and our creatives in Texarkana. You can watch live art through the night by local artists Darlene Taylor, Miranda Layne and Nay West who is also the owner fo Nay's Place. Nay will be doing live portraits from her 'cozy little corner.'

Downtown Texarkana also has some great restaurants to check out and shops will stay open later so you can do some shopping!
