As school starts back up and kids get back into the swing of things remember that you can enjoy free WiFi at our local parks in Texarkana, Texas. The Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department made this possible about a year and a half ago but if you're like me and get overwhelmed with too much information this might have slipped your mind.

Back in 2019 the Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department posted on their Facebook page:

Homework to do? Watching your kids at baseball practice? Or maybe you want to finish up some work in the outdoors.

Well....

Visit Spring Lake Park or Grady T. Wallace Park for free use of Wifi and enjoy soaking up the sun.

We have plenty of park benches to use or you can take a seat on the grass and watch the geese pass by. Enjoy!

So take the kids to the park to blow off a little steam or let them do their homework and get a little fresh air at the same time. Just remember to bring your phone, tablet or laptop so you can check in on social media or get a little work done yourself. Enjoy the free wifi at Spring Lake Park and Grady T. Wallace Park as well. Oh and bring some treats for the ducks and geese too!
