Get ready for some fun and a little exercise with the return of the Spring Bike Tours in downtown Texarkana.

The bike tours will take place on each Friday in May and rotate between A Cycle Through History and A Cycle Through Public Art.

These fun tours hosted by the Texarkana Texas Parks and Recreation Department and TKX150 will all start at 5:30 PM  at the Museum of Regional History located at 219 North Stateline Avenue. Each tour will end at Pecan Point Brewery with appetizers.

There is a limit of 10 participants per tour and you can bring your own bike in fact they encourage it because there is a limited number of bicycles downtown to rent.

These tours are free if you bring your own bike if you need to rent a bike that will be your only fee.

You will need to register to save your spot on one of these tours

Friday, May 5  and Friday, May 12 will be the tour A Cycle Through History. You will be seeing and learning about the historic buildings downtown.

Friday, May 13 and Friday, May 27 will be the tour A Cysle Through Public Art.
