Texarkana Family-Friendly October Festival Fun at Spring Lake Park

The month of October has finally arrived, and that means fall festival fun events coming to Spring Lake Park in Texarkana.

Texarkana, Texas Farmers Market - Southwest Center

The Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department has an entire month of family-friendly activities planned, starting with the Texarkana, Texas Farmers' Market on Tuesday, October 9, and every Tuesday throughout the month from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Southwest Center.

Movies in the Park

One of the most popular fall events at Spring Lake Park is "Movies in the Park." Bring a lawn chair or blanket and see a hit movie under the stars. Concessions are available, but you're welcome to bring your own snacks. All movies start at dusk.

• Oct. 23 - The Town That Dreaded Sundown (Original Classic)

Oct. 16: Annual Fall Festival at Spring Lake Park

Join the Parks and Recreation staff for a fun-filled evening of fall festivities starting at 4:30 p.m. This event includes bounce houses, costume contests for various age groups, a pet costume contest, face painting, hayrides, and more.

Nov. 1 - Annual Bark At The Park at the Pavilion

Bark at the Park is scheduled for November 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Pavilion at Spring Lake Park, also known as Kylee Sullivan Dog  Park. Bring your dogs and cats to receive free rabies vaccinations and city registrations. Other vaccinations will be available for a small fee.
