Four States Friends of NRA Banquet is Coming May 13

Get ready Friends of NRA, your banquet is coming Tuesday, May 13 at the Four States Fairgrounds!

If you're an NRA member then you already know what a great event this is and how much it benefits local area youth programs in the shooting sports.

If you’re new to this experience, allow me to break it down a little more thoroughly for you. Did you know that Four States Friends of NRA gave over $17,000 in grants to youth shooting programs right here in the Ark-La-Tex?  The 2013 banquet made it into the exclusive High Caliber Club by having net proceeds over $25,000.

Listed below are some the programs that have benefited from this banquet recently:

• Ashdown Trap Team
• Bowie County 4-H advisory board
• Fouke ISD Shooting Team
• Genoa ISD Shooting Team
• Texarkana Arkansas Razorback Trap Team
• The Bowie County 4H Pistol Club

Besides guns and ammunition these youth shooting sports programs have a lot of expenses that have to be met every year and that's what the Friends of NRA banquet is all about.

The Big Shooter package costs $100 and includes dinner, but you'll get $200 worth of tickets to drop in the prize buckets as well. For an individual this is by far the best deal. However if you are interested in getting a table for your company or organization there are several different packages available, please contact a committee member for more information.

There are now two Pre-event packages that you can purchase raffle tickets for at just $10 each, and you do not have to be present to win these packages;
