Fun Events in Texarkana and Beyond This Weekend August 23-25
Hooray for the weekend! This weekend enjoy the outdoors when you can, the temperatures will be in the mid-90s but the forecast is calling for low humidity and that can make all the difference. We found a few events going on this weekend August 23-25 that are worth checking out.
Bandit Trading Card Show in Texarkana
With 85 tables confirmed this will be a big card show. It will all be there from memorabilia, sports cards, collectibles, Pokemon and more. It all takes place Saturday, August 24 from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Texarkana Arkansas Parks and Recreation Center located at 1 Legion Drive in Texarkana. Binning Farm Vendor Sale
Binning Farm in Maud is having their monthly farm vendor sale with a big variety of items from 9 AM to 1 PM. Binning Farm is located at 6277 Farm to Market 2149.
1st Annual Pedal Out Childhood Cancer Bicycle Ride
This will be a fun event for the kids and it's for a great cause. This Saturday at 6:30 PM at Spring Lake Park. $25 registration per person. This event put on by toughkookie.org is a local organization that helps women with breast cancer and children with cancer. You can find out more about their mission and this event at their website.
Board Game Sundays at Meeplecity
Meeplecity located at 1901 North Robinson Road in Texarkana has Board Game Sunday every Sunday at 2 PM. Bring your own game or play one from their Board Game Library. There will be card and board games, dice games, trivia and strategic games too. Find out more on their Facebook page.
