Big Dam Waterpark

Big Dam Park is opening on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 5501 Crossroads Parkway.

Benny the Beaver and the staff have been working hard for weeks to bring the four states area a premiere waterpark for your summer fun destination and a waterpark that Texarkana can be proud of in the community. Let me give you a sneak peek before it opens!

Their newly reimagined park promises to bring you plenty of adventure from every turn, twist, and splash from the Big Dam Slide Tower with enclosed and open slides.

Breach Beach

Soak in the sun on Breach Beach where you ride the waves in the big dam wave pool.

Lazy River

Relax in the Lil’ Buffalo Lazy River as you float with friends and family under the sun.

Kit Colony

Families and kids will love Kit Colony an amazing 42-foot-high Mega Play Structure that features over 100 interactive water games and a 300-gallon water bucket that will make a big splash on its guests below.

Cold Springs

Other attractions are Cold Springs the ultimate aquatic playground for all ages and a sand bar.

New to the Park

"We're adding Virtual Reality snorkeling where guests can get in the water for an experience like no other, swim with whales, dolphins, or the Great Barrier Reef, this is the only park in this region that will offer this unique experience, said Johnny Blevins, P23 President.

Big Dam Waterpark offers cabanas with full service for food and drinks, Benny’s birthday bash packages,  group events, or private events. You can book the entire park if you want!

Friday Night Live

There will also be special promotions throughout the summer with live music, DJs, and more. Talk about a pool party!

Story Behind The Name: Big Dam Waterpark

Johnny Blevins son Brett thought it would be a fun name since Little Rock, Arkansas already has the Big Dam Bridge he said, Texarkana should have the Big Dam Waterpark.

Over a million dollars has been spent to bring this Texarkana waterpark back to life the way it should be and with all the upgrades they have even lowered the prices.

The slides that weren't working are all repainted and working, filters replaced, and the lazy river only had one motor working, now all 8 motors are running smoothly making it a faster lazy river for total enjoyment.

The Big Dam Slide Tower now has a covered top for guests as they wait to slide.
