Halloween 101: Never Let Your Husband Pick Your Costume

Let's be honest, husbands have a hard time picking produce out that's not bruised.

In case you've been living under a rock, Halloween costume selection is a big deal. Take it from a girl who never celebrated Halloween growing up, but has now been invited to plenty of Halloween parties as an adult. I've even contemplated hosting one.

The costume is everything.

Which is why I am terrified as to what my husband has cooked up. One night he came home super excited about this group costume he and the guys came up with. After a long pause he said... "You're involved."

By the way, apparently group costumes are the way to go this year.

Anyway, after a little bit of prying, it appears that we will be doing Mario Kart this year. Unfortunately that means I will be Princes Peach. Not that I don't want to be a princess, but who wants to wear a giant ball gown around all night? And damsel in distress? So 400 years ago...
