Heather Linn and the Deacons to Perform at Sparks in the Park

Sparks in the Park 2019 is set for this Saturday, June 29, at the Four States Fairgrounds we're excited to present Heather Linn and The Deacons to be the featured entertainer this year.

Heather Linn has been a mainstay in the Texarkana area and throughout the Ark-La-Tex for several years now. Everywhere they perform they add more fans to their already impressive fan base. Influenced by the likes of other strong females such as Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, Wynonna Judd, who I can hear similarities in her powerhouse vocals. Linn is one of those artists that is very interactive with her audience when she performs. She wants to make sure that everyone has a great time, no matter what their ages. With a group of very talented musicians you can expect to hear everything from southern rock, classic rock, pop, blues, and country. Don't be surprised that she will likely perform some original tunes she wrote herself with the band..

As a matter of fact, "Kalea's Song" has already won an award and was nominated in multiple categories at the East Texas Music Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year.

Heather Linn and the Deacons has opened for other artist like, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Tracy Byrd, Wade Bowen, Thompson Square, Charley Farley, Thompson Square and just last weekend, The Randy Rogers Band.

You can bet it's going to be party when Heather Linn and The Deacons take the outdoor stage at Sparks in the Park 6:30PM and 8:00PM.
