
State Troopers End High-Speed Pursuit of Wanted Man in Arkansas
A high-speed chase in Arkansas on Interstate 530 on Monday morning ended in a crash near Redfield, but thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
Deputies Request Assistance From The Arkansas State Police
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police around 11:15 AM on March 23, 2026, after a suspect fled northbound on the interstate.

Authorities identified the driver as Deandre Brothers, 29, who was wanted on charges including terroristic threatening, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest.
Arkansas Police High Speed Pursuit Reaches 125 MPH
Arkansas Troopers took over the pursuit around 11:30 AM, with speeds reaching up to 125 mph and several close calls with other drivers along the way. The chase came to a stop near the Redfield exit when a trooper performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI).

During the maneuver, the suspect’s vehicle crossed the median into the southbound lanes and struck a van driven by a civilian. Fortunately, that driver was not injured.
Suspect Apprehended, Investigation Ongoing in Arkansas
After the crash, Brothers attempted to run but was quickly taken into custody by deputies. A passenger in his vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. No officers were hurt.
ASP Colonel Mike Hagar said in a press release,
This suspect endangered the lives of countless motorists traveling on I-530. We thank God no one was seriously injured as a result of his reckless decision to flee from law enforcement.
The incident remains under investigation, and additional charges are expected.
