Do you remember Holly Tucker from Season 4 of "The Voice?" Well, get ready because Holly is coming to Texarkana to perform at 7PM this Friday, April 21, at the newly refurbished BrightStar Theaters, formerly the Oaklawn Opry.

Holly Tucker was born in Waco. Tucker brings a mix of traditional and new country sound to Texarkana with vocals that remind me of Martina McBride and Holly Dunn. You'll see why this vibrant energetic 23-year-old Texas girl wowed the coaches on Season 4 and was one of seven singers who received a 4-chair turn in the Blind Auditions and made it to the finals on Team Blake.

As a matter fact, Shelton said, "The most effortless, accurate, and powerful voice" the top-charting country music star has ever heard.

Listen to the Garcia Express this Friday between 5-6PM for an exclusive interview and an acoustic performance from Holly Tucker. Here's a little sample.

Growing up, Tucker was part of a musical family and cut her teeth singing with her family in a Christian music group "Revised Edition." This gifted singer/songwriter also plays the piano, guitar, and alto sax and began at a very young age performing in churches and talent shows all across Texas and Louisiana. In 2007, Tucker was only 14 when she released her first album, It's About Time which contained four demo songs, according to a press release.

Her second album, Love Is What She Likes, was released in 2011 and with personal appearances promoting the album she garnered  Solo/Duo Act of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year from the Music Association of Central Texas. A graduate from Baylor University, Tucker was singing in Dallas when she learned that auditions were taking place in for the show. So she decided to try out and aced the audition and was invited to Los Angeles to compete on "The Voice" where she performed the Garth Brooks song "To Make You Feel My Love."

After getting that 4-chair turn in the Blind Auditions, she impressed the coaches again with "How Great Thou Art" and The Band Perry's song "Done," which actually landed her on the Billboard country chart.  Tucker made it all the way to the Top 6 on "The Voice" before coming up short on America's vote in June of 2013.

Holly Tucker just recently debuted her latest iTunes chart climbing CD Steel available on iTunes and Google Play. Visit Holly on her Facebook page.

Here's her single that Holly Tucker co-wrote with Buddy Owens and Jenee Fleenor called "You're In Texas."

Tickets to see Holly Tucker at BrightStar Theaters are just $15 but all high school seniors and college students get discounted $10 tickets by showing their school IDs at the door TONIGHT. Be there!
