It’s ‘Video Games Day’ – What’s Your Top 5?
Today is National "Video Games Day," and after some serious consideration, I believe I have come up with my own Top 5 list of my all-time favorite video games. And no Lisa, "Pong" is not one of them.
Although I have been playing video games since "Pong" came out, maybe I've admitted too much, I even still play some to this day although not as much as I once did. Who's go the time?
According to a recent national survey, below we have listed the Top Video Game Franchises of all time. These aren't specific game but rather the overarching franchise.
Top 10 Best Video Game Franchise:
- Super Mario
- Call of Duty
- Donkey Kong
- Grand Theft Auto
- Pokémon
- Zelda
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Final Fantasy
- Halo
- Crash Bandicoot
So here you go, my list of all-time game franchises:
- Call of Duty - I can't imagine how many hours I've sat glued to my computer screen in multi-player mode for this gaming franchise. It's probably best I don't know.
- Combat Flight Simulator - Another one that if I knew the actual hours played it would probably be staggering. Suffice to say, I love to fly!
- Super Mario Brothers - Fun games all-around but my personal favorite of these was "Super Mario Cart"! Hours and Hours and Hours!
- Real Racing 3 - A more recent addition to fun-when-you're-bored action. From modern to muscle, if you like driving fast and a little competition, you're gonna like this phone/tablet racing game.
- Battlefield - Another very well done first-person shooter franchise.
There's a bunch more that I've played over the years of course, including a few RPG's, but I never really got into those. I loved "Warcraft" but the affair didn't last long. My roommate and I rented a stupid puzzle game from Blockbuster back in the day and kept it rented for about two weeks until we solved all the stupid puzzles, it was called "Lolo," and we still reference it even to this day because of our obsession at the time. Do you "Lolo?"
There's mine, what's yours?
