Good Wednesday, Here are some stories making headlines today:

Crews in Little River County in Southwest Arkansas are trying to remove 31 rail cars loaded with coal that derailed yesterday between Ashdown and Ogden, Just north of Texarkana. No one was reported injured in the train derailment.

Two projects to construct overpasses should improve safety at interesections in Cass and Upshur counties in Northeast Texas according to plans approved by the Texas Department of Transportation.

The overpasses will be constructed on US 59 at FM 3129 near Domino in Cass County and on US 271 at SH 155 West in Gilmer in Upshur County. Work on the overpasses should begin in August and take around three years to complete.

Make plans this Saturday to attend a Hamburger Lunch Fundraiser at Masonic Lodge #341 in Texarkana, Arkansas. The lunch will be from 11am to 2pm at the Lodge located off of 4102 East 9th street.
