Jewel Welcomes Baby Boy To Family

Jewel and her husband, pro-rodeo star Ty Murray welcomed a baby boy into the family Monday evening in Texas. According to a rep for People Magazine Kase Townes Murray was born at 7pm Central and weighed in at seven-pounds, six ounces.

Jewel’s pregnancy inspired her to record a new children’s album, The Merry Goes ‘Round, due out in stores this August.

Jewel recently tweeted some photos of the nursery she and her husband have prepared for their newborn.
