Last year John Rich made history on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice raising over $1 million dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Now, John is encouraging Eric Church to step up to the plate.

"I would like to just extend an invitation that if [Eric] wants to meet Donald Trump and go on Celebrity Apprentice, I will make that happen for you, Eric," John announced. "We need to go do that show and raise some money for your charity."

We all know about Eric's interview with Rolling Stone magazine. If you haven't read it, it's kinda funny because they bleep the print when he gets explicit on his feelings about the reality singing competition t.v. shows.  He did later apologize. John talks about that interview as well.

"I heard his apology," said John. "I think he just got to talkin’ too fast probably and didn’t realize, ‘Uh-oh, I didn’t remember all these great singers that have come from some of these shows.' I don’t think he was trying to be that malicious about it or anything," John said, before continuing with his offer for Celebrity Apprentice. "But I do think he’d be good on [Celebrity] Apprentice. The guy’s been working his tail off for however many years on the road and building his audience, and he’s a smart, tough guy. Give me a call, brother."
