Jon Pardi hits the stage on Thursday, May 3, at Shreveport Municipal Auditorium 8PM. One of my favorite new artists on the radio right now is Jon Pardi. His style of country music is just fun and contagious to listen to. Whether it's about having fun or heartbreak, Jon knows how to deliver his country music with style and class. From his distinctive vocals to his starch jeans and cowboy hat, he's one of only a few hat acts left in the business.

Pardi's signature sound reminds me of a young George Strait especially his latest single, "She Ain't In It."  This concert will be his last solo performance before he hits the road this summer with Luke Bryan on his What Makes You Country Tour. The 2017 ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year has come on strong with his California Sunrise album recently certified Gold which spawned his third No. 1 single, "Heartache on The Dance Floor." His latest single, "She Ain't It," is moving its way of the charts and the video has a cinematic feel to it. Other hits off the album included, "Head Over Boots," and "Dirt On My Boots."

The thing I like about Jon's music is he's not afraid to mix in some steel guitar and fiddle that's reminiscent of the honky-tonk era. Something of which is almost non-existent in today's new pop country world.  Glad this country boy from Northern California is sticking to his roots and giving fans what they want, great country music.
