Kilpatrick Elementary Presents the ‘Hunger’s No Game’ 5K/Fun Run April 15

Kilpatrick Biomedical Engineering School is hosting it's first ever 5K/Fun Run on Saturday April 15 to raise awareness to hunger in our community and benefit Randy Sams Shelter.

The race will kick off at 9AM with competitive runners racing down Jefferson Ave, then through the Nix Creek Trail near Kilpatrick.

Now through March 3 competitive racers can register for $20, after that and up to April 13, registration will be $25. They can only guarantee a T-Shirt if you register by March 20. Phantom runners can also register for $20 online and simply stay in bed if you like.

Fun Runners will start at 9:30AM and enjoy a 1 mile course, registration is just 10 canned foods to be delivered to Kilpatrick Elementary for each run/walker.

Door prizes and trophies will be awarded and all ages are welcome. Proceeds will be donated to the Randy Sams Shelter in Texarkana.
