Lake Wright Patman Water Rights on Council Agenda
The Texarkana, Texas City Council meets tonight and councilmembers will have water rights on their minds.
The meeting gets under way at 6PM at the Texas-side City Hall. Discussions will begin on a resolution that would support the Riverbend Water Resource District, the City of Texarkana, Texas and the surrounding member cities as sponsors of Lake Wright Patman water rights. A public hearing is planned for November 9 with a final vote expected by the council in December
