The Boil Water Notice for the Mandeville area has been rescinded by the Arkansas Department of Health and Texarkana Water Utilities. The notice was issued due to a broken main water line that occurred on August 19, 2025.

Public Water System Takes The Necessary Steps to Fix the Problem

The public water system has taken the necessary steps to restore the quality of the water distributed for drinking water or human consumption. Laboratory test results were provided to the Arkansas Department of Health, indicating that the water is safe and no longer requires boiling as of August 21. 2025.

On August 19, 2025, the Arkansas Department of Health required the City of Texarkana, Arkansas public water system to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled before use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The location affected was the Mandeville Area.
