Maren Morris to Kick Off State Fair of Texas Sept. 29
The 2017 State Fair of Texas kicks off this Friday, Sept. 29 and runs until Oct. 22, in Dallas. One of country music's hottest female stars, Maren Morris is set to perform Friday night on the Chevrolet Main Stage at 8:30PM. The concert is FREE with fair admission.
Morris, broke onto the country music charts in 2017 with her smash hit "My Church," which eventually led to her first Grammy Award. This concert is like a homecoming for the singer/songwriter who hails from Arlington, Texas. Her current certified gold album, Hero Deluxe Edition also produced the hit, "80s Mercedes." Morris recently collaborated with Thomas Rhett on the song "Craving You" which went number one on the country charts. The soon to be married Maren Morris is engaged to country artist Ryan Hurd. Her current single "I Could Use a Love Song," continues to rise up the country charts.
Morris is scheduled to join Sam Hunt for the 15 in a 30 Tour for the remainder of this year and then in June 2018 will join Pop star Niall Horan on the Flicker World Tour in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, she is nominated for three upcoming CMA Awards including Female Vocalist of the Year to be handed out November 8, in Nashville, TN.
