Marty Stuart Plans 34-Stop Tour, Including Dates With Steve Miller Band
Marty Stuart has just announced an extensive, 34-date tour set to launch on March 2. Touring with his band, the Fabulous Superlatives, Stuart will join the Steve Miller Band as an opening act for many of the dates along the way.
Ahead of the tour, Stuart will be featured in a new Ken Burns documentary series, Country Music. Stuart appears extensively in interviews and performances throughout the 8-part show that traces the history and evolution of country music. The show airs on PBS beginning Sept. 15, at 8PM ET.
Stuart's latest album, Way Out West, was released in March of 2017 to critical acclaim. Structured as a love letter to the state of California, the project sees Stuart once again showcasing his talent in linking music to America's cultural heritage.
