Montgomery Gentry Sticking to “Blue Collar” Roots for Next Album!

MONTGOMERY GENTRY had a pretty tough winter.  They left their record label... and then they had to deal with EDDIE MONTGOMERY'S cancer scare, and surprise divorce filing.

So it's good to hear they're heading back to the studio later this month.  They're also keeping it real and aren't planning to go off in some weird direction with their music.

TROY GENTRY explains, quote, "Eddie and I are still cutting the blue collar type stuff, the songs everyday people can identify with.

"(Although), as with any project Eddie and I go in and do, we hope that it's better than the last one."  No word when the new album will be out.

(COMMENT STARTER:  This may be for Montgomery Gentry fans only.  Are you happy they're sticking with the music they're known for... or do you think it's time they stretch it out a little and try something new?)
