More Donation Locations to Help Arkansas Tornado Victims

It is so nice to see local people from right here in our immediate area reaching out to the victims of the devastating tornado that struck Mayfower and Vilonia Arkansas over the past weekend. New Boston Fire Department is collecting donations to be taken to the those impacted by the recent tornadoes in Arkansas. The items can be taken to Fire Station #2 across from the old courthouse in New Boston and next door to Buddy’s on FM 1840.

Items are being collected now through this Friday from 3:30 – 8:00 p.m. each day. The items will be delivered on Saturday.

Items needed include: bottled water, baby items (diapers, wipes, formula, etc.), non-perishable and ready-to-eat foods, towels and wash cloths, and other items that you feel could be needed.

• In addition,the Foreman, Arkansas Schools and the Foreman Volunteer Fire Department are also collecting donations. Drop-off location will be at Hadaway Service Center, 520 E. 1st Avenue, Foreman, Arkansas.

• Remember, you have until this Friday here in Texarkana to drop off items at the AG Learning Building located at the Four States Fairgrounds. Delivery of goods will be this weekend.
