
Nash’s Revival: A Boutique Hotel And Eatery On The Way
If you have driven through Nash, Texas, lately, you may have noticed the old Nash School right off the highway. An incredible transformation is underway to make it into a new boutique hotel and restaurant.

According to the Texarkana Gazette, the owners of Local Habit coffee shop have named the new establishments The Primary Hotel and The Primary Commons restaurant.
Primary Hotel and Primary Commons
Work continues on the new boutique hotel situated on five acres that will feature 17 guest rooms with private baths, a plunge pool for cooling off, a courtyard, and a pavilion for small and larger private events.

Locally Owned and Operated
The owners of Local Habit coffee shop are the masterminds behind this new business endeavor. The city of Nash's continued growth is one of the main reasons this new boutique and restaurant will become a part of the community. The restaurant is expected to open first in October, according to the plan, followed by the hotel at a later date. The larger event space and pavilion are set to open in 2026.
The restaurant will be a farm-to-table restaurant serving fresh produce from local farms in our area. Additionally, the Primary Commons will feature a full bar, and reservations are required for dinner only, with lunch being added soon. The menu will change seasonally throughout the year.

About The Old Nash School Building
The old Nash School is considered one of the oldest buildings in Nash. It once held classes from first to 10th Grade, but closed in 1963. The building had many other businesses before becoming vacant for several years.
