New Blue Bell Flavor in Arkansas Offers Frosty Mug Taste

The Memorial Day 3-day holiday weekend unofficially kicks off the summer season and what better way to kick start it than with something nostalgic now in your grocery shelves?

As the weather heats up over the coming months there's nothing quite like a big bowl of ice cream to cool you off and soothe the soul especially if it brings back a ton of memories. What if that big bowl of ice cream tastes just like a frosty mug of cold A&W Root Beer?

The Texas-based company Blue Bell introduces a new flavor with an old-time feel, A&W Root Beer Float Ice Cream. Who doesn't remember going to an A&W Drive-In and ordering a root beer float in a frosty mug, Man those were the days and if you ordered one in a baby mug you could keep the glass mug as a souvenir.

According to a press release, last year Blue Bell released the Dr Pepper Float and it was a huge hit but this will be the last year you can purchase it. The A&W Root Beer Float I'm sure will be a much bigger hit and is expected to be around until the end of 2025.

The new flavor will be available in 23 states in the United States where Blue Bell products are sold.

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wyoming.

Ice Cream fans can enjoy this new frosty flavor just in time for the long Memorial Day holiday weekend, thanks to a longtime Texas tradition that Blue Bell Creameries started in Brenham, Texas. Add this sweet goodness to a family picnic or cookout and you just can't go wrong.
