Peace, Love, and Paws at ‘Woofstock 24′ in Jefferson, Texas

One of the most popular new events in East Texas is coming to historic Jefferson, Texas on September 20-21, the second annual Woofstock 24.

This is a two-day family fun event and yes your furry friend is invited to be a part of this howling good time for all ages. However, all dogs must be kept on a 6' leash and be able to tolerate a crowded environment that will include other dogs, animals, people, and noise.

This is a 501c3 fundraiser designed to bring awareness and togetherness in helping control the stray cat and dog population in Marion County. There will be a ton of family-oriented activities throughout the city of Jefferson like Buddy's Run to the Rescue 5K+ race, a one-mile dog walk, and a Kids' Fun Run.

 The Friends of Jefferson Animals and Animal Protection League will be on hand offering advice on pet safety, available services, rescue needs, and more. All this positive energy in the community can mean one thing at Woofstock 24, "Peace, Love, and Paws."
