From Texarkana's Pickle Festival to Hope Watermelon Festival and Pioneer Days in New Boston, Texas. But now it's time to check out the Rocky Comfort Pecan Festival in Foreman, Arkansas, Saturday, October 18.

Downtown Foreman is gearing up for a great event this fall, their 4th Annual Rocky Comfort Pecan Festival on Saturday, October 18. This is a full day of food, fun, music, and community spirit. There is definitely something for everyone.

Wild Game Cook-off & Bake-off

Bring your appetite and your best recipe for the Wild Game Cook-off, where grill masters and home chefs alike will show off their culinary creativity.

There’s also the Little River Bake-off, held inside the Foreman Community Center. Entries must include pecans and can feature candy, cookies, cakes, breads, or pies. Judging begins at noon, and entries must be received by 11:30 AM.

Classic Car Show

Car lovers won’t want to miss the 4th Annual Rocky Comfort Pecan Festival Car Show. The Foreman Community Foundation hosts the car show. Registration opens at 8 AM with the show running from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Awards will be handed out at 2 PM, with prizes for every decade category from 1950 to the present, plus motorcycles. There will also be door prizes, goody bags, and plenty of food and craft vendors.

Music, Fun, and a Costume 5K

No great festival is complete without great live music. The day will be packed with live performances from Steve Gauldin, Hackers, Elijah Arnold, Cullyn Corley, Craig Dotson, Marty Lansdell, Luke Ford, and Locked and Loaded N.B. Oh, and the return of the Costume 5K.
