We hear the stories all the time now, pets that have been lost for days, weeks, and months, finding their way back home thanks to the microchip. Do you have a pet or two that could use this technology to be returned to you if they ever get lost, and would you like to get it for free?

Well, here's your chance Texarkana, don't miss the Chip and be Chipper event coming up on Saturday, June 25 from 10 AM - 2 PM.

The first 200 pets will be chipped for free, while supplies last.

The event will take place at 203 Harrison St. in Texarkana, AR at the Animal Care and Adoption Center.

Since this event is on the Arkansas side of town they will also be offering City Pet Licenses for Arkansas residents only. Must bring proof of current rabies vaccination from a Veterinarian. $30 annually unaltered - $10 annually altered.
