Pink Out Texarkana! Get Ready for Race for The Cure! [AUDIO]

It's just around the corner!! The Komen Texarkana Race for the Cure is set for Saturday October 19, but there are a few great events leading up to the race!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and this Friday, October 11 is Pink Out Texarkana! Area businesses, schools, churches, organizations and residents are encouraged to wear pink for the day! There is even a Pink Out Photo Contest for businesses to enter. The winner and receive special recognition on race day and will be featured in next years Texarkana Race for the Cure Publications.

On Friday, October 18 it's Party in Pink - Fiesta Style from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.! The night will include drinks, dinner provide by TaMolly's Mexican Kitchen, live music by the Colt Classics and a silent auction. It all takes place at the Four States Entertainment Center, tickets are $50 each and you can purchased through your registration form or at the door.

The Race for the Cure will be held Saturday October 19 at the Four States Fairgrounds. You can register online or at the Texarkana Komen booth at Central Mall at the West entry near Chik-fil-A til October 15.
