CASA volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children in the foster care system.  When a child enters the child welfare system because his or her home is no longer safe due to abuse or neglect, a judge may appoint a committed volunteer to advocate for the best interest of the child in court and other settings. Our local CASA program served more than 1,000 children in 2017 and needs more volunteers to help provide all the children in need with an advocate.  For more information CASA’s role in the foster care system and to learn what you can do to help, visit the local CASA website.

This is the only color run in our area. Come join us and help benefit the children Your participation can make the difference in a child’s life!  Remember, one act or voice for a child can make a difference.
