
$1 Million Worth of Stolen Pills Recovered, Four Arrested in Arkansas
Thanks to the Arkansas State Police four men from Texas are in jail after troopers intercepted a massive stash of stolen prescription drugs from a burglary that took place at a pharmacy in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

How much did they confiscate? More than 26,000 pills at an estimated street value of $750,000 to $1 million!
According to a press release from the Arkansas State Police, the burglary took place around 1:15 AM on Thursday, July 31. Surveillance video shows two men breaking a rear window to enter the pharmacy. It took them more than two hours to break into a secured cage and then they started loading the bottles of pills into large duffel bags.
A "BOLO" Alert and a Traffic Stop Lead to Arrests
A BOLO alert was issued when a Toyota RAV4 was seen leaving the scene on the security camera. Arkansas Troopers found the SUV traveling with another vehicle a Nissan Rogue, on I-30 near Caddo Valley. The troopers stopped both vehicles at the Pilot Travel Center and arrested four suspects.
Once police searched one of the vehicles, they found 2 large trash bags with pill bottles, including more than 6,000 Hydrocodone pills, around 1,500 Morphine pills and over 6,700 Oxycodone pills.
Four Men Face Felony Drug Trafficking Charges in Arkansas
Troopers arrested 21-year-old Erik Dewayne Lyons Jr., 29-year-old Johnathan Dewayne Fore and 32-year-old Anthony Ray Venwright Jr, all from Houston, Texas. The 4th suspect arrested was 21-year-old Bartley Omar White Jr. from Humble. They were all charged with 8 felony counts of trafficking a controlled substance each and are being held at the Clark County Detention Center.
This is an ongoing investigation. Arkansas State Police say more charges from the Missouri authorities are possible.
All of these suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
