The training is designed for anyone interested in expanding their horticulture knowledge, whether they are experienced gardeners or want to become more confident in caring for their own garden.

Learn from Horticulture Experts In-Person or Online

Receive instruction on a variety of gardening topics, including basic botany, soils and fertilizers, pest control and pesticide use, landscape design, vegetable and fruit gardening, annuals, perennials, and more.

There are two training options to fit your schedule. Choose between in-person classes or online. In-person classes will be held on Wednesdays, October 21 and 28, and November 4, 11, and 18, from 8 AM to 4 PM. A self-paced online option is also available, with courses beginning October 3 and remaining accessible through December 11.

Sign up Before Registration Deadline in September

The cost of the program is $150 and includes a training manual, supplies, first-year dues, and an official Master Gardener badge.

Applications must be submitted to the Miller County Extension Service by 4 PM on thursday September 17. The office is located at 1007 Jefferson Avenue in Texarkana, Arkansas.
