Register Your Neighborhood For Texarkana’s National Night Out October 1

It's time to get ready for National Night Out, it'll be here before you know it. The 2024 National Night Out in Texarkana Texas and Texarkana Arkansas will be held on Tuesday, October 1.

This event encourages neighborhoods to get together with their neighbors and visit, grill some great food and enjoy each other's company. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to meet city officials, police officers and firefighters who serve our community and keep us safe.

It's a proven fact that when you know your neighbors you watch out for them. Knowing the people that live in your area keeps you safer. When everyone takes part in looking out for each other, you notice if something is wrong or someone might need help.

Throw a block party in your neighborhood. It doesn't have to be a big elaborate, expensive get-together. You can do a potluck and let everyone bring something. Get your lawn chairs and gather outside!

Be sure to register your neighborhood party so police, firefighters and city officials can stop by and meet everyone.
