The countdown clock is running and so should you if you're training for a half marathon that is. Runners, it's time to sign up for the "Run The Line Half Marathon," it's coming up in February of 2023.

This is year #15 year of this tremendous event, a half marathon that traverses two states. It is a USATF-certified single-loop course that starts at W. Broad Street and Texas Blvd in downtown Texarkana, Texas. The race quickly transitions to Arkansas, crosses back into Texas, and finishes in Texarkana, Arkansas. The course will include asphalt park trails and residential neighborhoods on city streets. The finish line brings you back downtown to 3rd and Wood Streets, about 5 blocks from the start.

The Run The Line Half Marathon is part of the prestigious 2023 Arkansas Grand Prix Series, and the only half Marathon in that 2023 series. The Arkansas Grand Prix Series is a series of 17 to 20 races affiliated with RRCA and Arkansas running clubs throughout the state. Information about the Grand Prix series is available at arkrrca.com.

This is also a Road Runner Club of America event. We are also a qualifying race again in the 2023 Natural State Running Series. The races and registration are available at naturalstateruns.com.

A portion of the course is on the Texas/Arkansas State Line. The 2023 course is USATF certified (AR19015WJT). The race includes chip timing, walkers, and 2-person and 4-person relay teams.
