See You at the Pole, the annual prayer event for students that began in Texas in 1990, is Wednesday morning in Texarkana.

Students are encouraged across Texarkana, the nation, and the world by organizers to join with other students around their school's flagpole at 7:15AM local time on Wednesday, September 28, to pray.

Arkansas High and North Heights Junior high students will once again participate this year. According to SYATP organizers, this event is about one simple act -- prayer. See You at the Pole is about students uniting themselves in prayer before God, interceding for their generation.

All around the globe, in every time zone, many students will gather at their schools' flagpoles, to pray for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities.

The Global Week of Student Prayer, which is held Sunday, September 25 through Saturday, October 1, encourages students to find new ways, places, and times to pray throughout the week.

Organizers hope that whether you attend public school, private school, or home school, that you will gather your friends wherever and whenever and pray. To learn more about See You at The Pole visit their website.
