Texarkana Shop with a Cop/Firefighter Needs Donations Now

The "Shop with a Cop/Firefighter" event will be here before you know it. Now is the time to donate to this amazing program before the shopping date of Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Don't Let Time Slip Away

Let's face it, this month is going to fly by, next thing you know, we're sitting down with family and friends to enjoy another Thanksgiving Holiday feast.

Then the mad rush to Christmas will be underway. We all get caught up in the holiday fuss and sometimes forget to drop off a donation to help others. That's what the Shop with a Cop/Firefighter program is all about.

Texarkana Arkansas PD and FD

The TAPD and the TAFD are both excited to kick off this year’s Shop with a Cop/Fire program, and they need your help to pull it off once again.

PD and FD will sponsor as many children as possible during the first week of December on a shopping trip to Walmart to pick up those Christmas gift wishes.

The Benefits of Police and Firefighter Interaction

The main thing is that underprivileged kids in our community get to have a better Christmas. But the secondary benefit is the interaction between our youth and fine men and women wearing those uniforms who are dedicated to protect and serve.

Kids should never be afraid of our first responders.
