Colors of Fall Are Calling: Plan Your Road Trip to Six Finger Falls in Arkansas
The fall season has officially arrived. Are you ready for a road trip to one of Arkansas' top destinations for breathtaking views of mountain vistas bursting with vibrant colors and a waterfall?
Six Finger Falls - Richland Wilderness Area
Peak season for fall foliage in Arkansas is typically around the last week of October through the first two weeks of November. Now is the time to start planning a road trip to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the rugged terrain of the majestic Ozark Mountains.
While this waterfall in Arkansas may not be the tallest, it makes up for it with a 100-foot-wide creek and multiple cascading waterfalls. The best part about Six Finger Falls is the trail, only 200 yards away from a parking area. The unusual rock formations resemble extending rock "fingers" when the water is really flowing. The best time to visit the falls is after a heavy rain.
