Spa-Con Returns to Hot Springs This Weekend, May 16 & 17

If you know me, then you already know my wife and I go to Comic Conventions on a regular basis, and the season has definitely started. First up this year for us is this coming weekend, May 16 & 17 in Hot Springs, Arkansas... Spa-Con 2026. Have you been?

What Spa-Con Is Not...

Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a pretty laid-back community, kind of a Hippy-vibe if you will. It reminds me a lot of a much smaller version of Austin, Texas... as they say, "Keeping It Weird."

Spa-Con is not a star-studded monster event like San Diego, Atlanta, Dallas, or Houston-sized Cons.

What Spa-Con Is...

Spa-Con is a small to mid-level comic convention with a few stars, some great cosplay guests, and players.  Plus, terrific vendor booths, photo ops, Q&A Sessions, and plenty of time to meet the stars at their booths during the convention hours.

2026 Guests for Spa-Con

I had the good fortune to meet and work with some of the stars at this year's Spa-Con at the 2025 Geek'd Con in Shreveport. Pictured above, they are: Brian Krouse, Holly Marie Combs, and Drew Fuller from the TV show "Charmed." Really nice and great fun, you will love meeting them.

A Fun Con in Central Arkansas

I highly recommend this Con, especially if you're just getting your feet wet in attending these. It's fun, it's different, and my wife and I look forward to going back year after year.
