Two people suspected by authorities of stealing three horses from a property in the Fouke area of Miller County have been arrested and the horses returned to their owner.

Authorities say it began on May 1, at approximately 8am, Miller County Deputies responded to Fouke in reference to the theft of three horses.  While on scene, Deputies were advised that one of the horses had been sighted in a small field in Fouke.  Deputies and the owner responded and the owner took possession of the horse.

Later that day, at around 6:30pm, Miller County Deputies responded to the 800 block of Monster Expressway in Fouke where the two other horses had been sighted.  The horses were identified and released to the owner.

At approximately 11pm on that same day, Miller County Deputy Stephen Ward arrested 18 year old Bryson LeBlanc of Fouke, Arkansas on a charge of Obstructing Governmental Operations during the course of his investigation into the theft of the horses.

On Wednesday May 3, Investigator Thomas Whitt of the Miller County Sheriff’s Office began his follow up investigation and interviewed a juvenile suspect and Bryson LeBlanc.  On Saturday, May 12, Felony Theft by Receiving warrants were issued for the juvenile and LeBlanc, and the two were arrested on May 15.  The juvenile is being held at the Miller County Juvenile Detention Center, and LeBlanc is being held at the Miller County Detention Center pending arraignment.
