Fall Events Must Include The 33rd Annual Taste of Texarkana – October 13
There are so many reasons to love this time of year: high school, college and pro football; the eventual changing of the seasons, fall colors, pumpkin spice... wait, scratch that last one. (Bleh!) But my favorite fall event is coming very soon: the 2026 Taste of Texarkana is just a couple of weeks away on October 13, 2026.
What Happens - How It Works
If you're new to the area or simply have never attended the Taste of Texarkana, which benefits Harvest Regional Food Bank, here's what to expect:
- You pay your money
- They hand you a plate, napkins, and some cutlery
- You go around the Four States Fair Arena and choose samples of food from tons of local restaurants and caterers, beverage companies, grocery stores, food truck vendors, and more.
- Sit down, listen to live music, and feast!
When you're done with that first plate, you pick up where you left off and continue until you're full. Then you stop before they need to get a rolly-cart to wheel you back out to the parking lot.

Such A Great Local Cause
Taste of Texarkana benefits Harvest Regional Food Bank to help feed our neighbors who need it. Not only in Miller and Bowie Counties, but also in Columbia, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Nevada, Pike, and Sevier Counties in Arkansas. The hunger relief programs include food banking, food rescue, the school backpack program, mobile pantry, emergency disaster assistance, and more.
