It won't be long before the sound of the first school bell. Back to school is right around the corner. The Texarkana Community Back-to-School Bash is preparing for its FREE community send-off at Razorback Stadium on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Back to School Bash - Free Backpack Giveaway

The Back-to-School Bash runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring a FREE backpack and school supply giveaway, while supplies last. These supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so families should arrive early with their kids if they want to receive the school supplies.

Family-Friendly Activities - Back-to-School Bash

It will be a family, fun-filled day with games, interactive activities, and live entertainment. There will be lots of family-oriented activities like face painting, bounce houses, and music. Local organizations will be on hand to answer questions and offer resources to parents, and provide helpful information to support students throughout the school year.

So, mark your calendars for August 9 for the Texarkana Community Back-to-School Bash at Razorback Stadium at 1900 East 18th Street.

CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, along with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, and volunteers, has made this event possible.
