Cattle, Ponds & Pastures Program Set for April 23 in Texarkana

Ranchers, landowners, and agriculture enthusiasts will have a chance to sharpen their skills at the upcoming Cattle, Ponds & Pastures Program on April 23, 2026, in Texarkana, Texas.

When & Where?

This hands-on workshop will run from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Dub Herring Farms and will feature expert-led sessions focused on improving pasture management, livestock care, and overall farm productivity.

Organizers say the event is designed to provide practical knowledge that participants can immediately apply to their own operations.

Topics Will Include

  • Drone use for forage systems and precision agriculture.
  • Farm pond management techniques.
  • Spring and early summer forage fertility and weed control.
  • Vaccination and deworming best practices for livestock.
