Texarkana, get ready, you are invited to show a little love for your health at this free, family-friendly Health Fair happening Saturday, February 7.

Hosted by the Texarkana Arkansas Parks & Recreation Department, the event is designed to connect the community with helpful resources while encouraging healthy habits for all ages.

Free Screenings, Demos, and Helpful Resources at Free Health Fair in Texarkana

Attendees can receive a variety of free health screenings and assessments throughout the day. Services at this Texarkana event include blood pressure checks, cholesterol checks, bone density screenings, vision and hearing assessments, and adult and children’s health screenings.

The fair will also offer CPR demonstrations, chair seat checks, and information on nutrition, hydration, and asthma awareness. For those looking to stay active, there will be yoga demonstrations, chair exercise sessions, and a Tai Chi demo.

Family Fun and Door Prizes at Texarkana Free Health Fair in February

In addition to the health resources, the event will feature door prizes and activities the whole family can enjoy. The goal is to make health education approachable, informative, and fun in a welcoming, non-judgmental environment.

A Free Event for the Whole Community in Texarkana, February 7

The Health Fair will take place from 9 AM to 2 PM. at the Terry Lee Rogers Recreation Center, located at #1 Legion Drive in Texarkana, Arkansas.
