
Texarkana, Texas Health & Wellness Fair Set for Thursday, May 7
If you live in or near the Texarkana area, you are invited to take part in a free, family-friendly Health and Wellness Fair focused on improving overall well-being.
The City of Texarkana, Texas, and the Bowie County Family Health Clinic will host the annual event on Thursday, May 7, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Southwest Center, located at 3222 W. 7th Street.
Free Screenings and Helpful Resources
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local and regional organizations offering services and information related to physical, mental, and financial health.
Free services available at the event will include:
- Blood sugar checks
- Vision screenings
- Cholesterol checks
- Fire safety information
- Blood donation opportunities
- Child passenger safety education
- Car seat inspections
- Victim services resources
- Hospice care information
- Baseline mental health screenings
- Foster care volunteer opportunities
- Independent and assisted living resources
The goal is to provide easy access to important health services and connect residents with organizations that can support their everyday needs.
Food, Prizes, and Community Fun
In addition to health resources, attendees can enjoy door prizes throughout the event. Local food vendors Mama Nem and Dre’licious will also be on-site serving food for guests and participants.

Vendor Deadline Approaching
Booth space for vendors is limited, and those interested in participating must register by April 30. Instead of a booth fee, vendors are asked to donate a door prize.
